• Wayne State University Alumna: I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University, where I honed my skills and passion for business.

• MBA with a Focus on Project Management: My journey continued at Ashford University, where I earned my Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Project Management. This knowledge equips me to tackle complex challenges and drive successful outcomes for my clients.

Professional Journey

• Business Development Consultant: As the Owner and CEO of D Evans Consulting Group, I’ve advised and assisted numerous small businesses in their growth journey. From grass-roots organizations to strategic planning, I’ve helped entrepreneurs thrive.

• Project Manager: I’ve managed programs, budgets, and customer service at Compliance Business Solutions, LLC. Coaching new representatives and achieving star goals have been part of my commitment.

• Property Manager: My experience extends to managing LIHTC senior buildings, maintaining positive NOI, and creating reports to ensure operational excellence.

• Licensed Realtor: I’ve navigated the real estate landscape, representing clients at Lee Staples Reality in Conyers Georgia, Remax Classic Inc., and Keller Williams Realty, Inc.

Grandparents On The Move (GOTMO)

• Board Secretary: Since 2003, I’ve served as the Secretary for the Board of Directors at Grandparents On The Move. Our mission is to support grandparents and caregivers raising family members’ children. Through counseling, advocacy, and community events, we empower families.

• Touching Lives: Our annual Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances, along with the GOTMO Christmas program, have touched over 2000 families. We’re committed to making a difference.

• Wrote grants for GOTMO that received NOF ARPA, Michigan Relief Fund, and Wayne Metro grant funds to provide free physical and mental wellness classes, workshops, and intergenerational activities to low-income grandparents, kinship givers, and their children.
